Frequently asked questions
Does it shut off automatically when the water runs out?
No, and this is worth knowing before you buy. This model doesn't have low water protection, so use the timer and don't run it unattended for long periods. If automatic shut-off matters to you, several of our other diffusers have it.
How does the timer work?
Set it between 2 and 8 hours and it shuts down at the end. Since there's no low water cut-off, the timer is what you should rely on.
Is it made of real wood?
No. It has a wood grain finish rather than a solid wood body, which is what gives it the warm look at this price.
What can I plug it into?
Any USB power source. A laptop, power bank, phone charger or USB wall adapter all work.
What kind of oils can I use?
Water-soluble essential oils or oils made for ultrasonic diffusers, a few drops at a time. Thick or greasy oils leave residue on the ultrasonic plate.
What water should I use?
Clean tap water. In hard water areas, filtered or distilled water reduces the white mineral dust that can settle on nearby surfaces.
Is this an air purifier?
No. It adds scent and moisture to the air. It has no filter and does not remove dust, allergens or pollutants.
