Run it continuously and you get a steady mist for around five hours. Switch to intermittent and the same 220ml tank stretches to ten. Either way it cuts power on its own when the water runs out, so leaving it on overnight isn't something you have to think about.

What's the difference between the two modes?
Continuous mist runs without stopping and empties the tank in about five hours. Intermittent pulses on and off, roughly doubling how long a fill lasts. Continuous for dry air, intermittent for overnight.
Does it turn itself off?
Yes. A water level sensor cuts the power when the tank runs low, which protects the unit and means you can leave it running while you sleep.
Will it humidify my room?
It works best within personal range, so a desk, a bedside table or a small bathroom. At 3.5W it isn't going to change the humidity of a large room, and we'd rather say so now.
Is it quiet enough to sleep beside?
It runs below 36dB, comparable to a quiet library. Most people sleep beside it without difficulty.
Can I add essential oils?
A few drops of water-soluble oil is fine. Thick or greasy oils leave residue on the ultrasonic plate and reduce the mist over time.
What water should I use?
Clean tap water. In hard water areas, filtered or distilled water reduces the white mineral dust that can settle on nearby surfaces.
Is this an air purifier?
No. It adds moisture and, if you add oil, scent. It has no filter and does not remove dust, allergens or pollutants.
