Moving air on a hot day helps a little. Adding a fine water mist is what actually cools you, because evaporation pulls heat off your skin. This does both, folds to hang round your neck, and you can see exactly how much water is left through the clear tank.

Frequently asked questions
Does the mist get you wet?
No. It's a fine mist that evaporates on contact rather than spraying water at you, and that evaporation is what produces the cooling.
How loud is it?
45 to 50dB, which is around conversation level. Fine outdoors, at a picnic or walking, but noticeable in a quiet room. If you want something for sleeping or a silent office, our quieter fans are the better choice.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 12 hours, though that depends heavily on which of the four speeds you use and how often you run the mist. The lowest speed without mist runs considerably longer than the highest with it.
Can I wear it round my neck?
Yes. It folds so it can hang from your neck, which is the point if you're carrying bags, pushing a pram or walking.
What water should I use?
Clean tap water. Don't add essential oils or any other liquid, as they can block the misting nozzle.
Will it cool a room?
No. It's a personal cooling device, held or worn close to you. A room needs a proper fan or air conditioning.
