Most flame-effect diffusers offer a flame effect, and nothing else. This one switches from orange for the flame effect to blue and purple: it stops being simply a candle substitute and becomes an ambient lamp that also fragrances the room.

Is there a real flame?
No, and that is exactly the point. The effect comes from light shining through the mist, which flickers and moves like a flame. Nothing burns, nothing heats up: you can leave it running safely, including around children or pets.
What are the three colours for?
Orange creates the flame effect. Blue and purple provide cooler ambient lighting that completely changes the character of the room. All three work with or without oil in the water.
How long does one reservoir last?
The 180 ml reservoir releases 25 to 35 ml per hour, providing approximately five to seven hours depending on the setting.
Does it switch off automatically?
No timer function is specified for this model. If scheduled shut-off matters to you, one of our larger flame-effect diffusers offers a timer from 2 to 8 hours.
Which oils can I use?
Water soluble essential oils or oils designed for ultrasonic diffusers, a few drops at a time. Thick or oily formulas can leave residue on the ultrasonic plate.
What water should I use?
Clean tap water. In hard water areas, filtered or demineralised water reduces white dust deposits on nearby surfaces.
Is it an air purifier?
No. It adds fragrance and moisture to the air. It contains no filter and does not remove dust, allergens or pollutants.
