Add Ice. That's What Makes The Difference.

A normal desk fan moves warm air around. Fill this one's reservoir with cold water and ice, and the air passing over it comes out cooler and slightly humid. It's not air conditioning, but on a hot afternoon at a desk it's a noticeable step up from a plain fan.

Why you'll like it

  • Cooler air, not just moving air. Water evaporating from the reservoir takes heat with it. Add ice and the effect is stronger.
  • Three speeds. Low for a steady breeze, high for the first stretch after coming in from outside.
  • Mist and humidity. Useful in dry air-conditioned offices where the air has been stripped of moisture.
  • Seven light colours. A soft glow on a desk or a coffee table, and it works whether or not the fan is running.
  • Runs from any USB source. Laptop, power bank, USB adapter or a car charger. Type-C cable included.
  • Four colours. Black, white, green or blue.

How it works

  1. Fill the reservoir with cold water and add ice cubes.
  2. Connect the Type-C cable to any USB power source.
  3. Select one of the three fan speeds and choose your light colour.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an air conditioner?
No. It's an evaporative cooler. There's no compressor and no refrigerant, so it doesn't produce cold air the way an air conditioning unit does. It cools by evaporating water, which works best at close range with ice in the reservoir. We'd rather say so plainly than have it arrive as a disappointment.

Do I have to use ice?
It works without, but the effect is much weaker. Cold water with ice is what makes the difference between this and an ordinary fan.

How loud is it?
45 to 50dB, which is around conversation level. It's the loudest product we sell. Fine for a desk or a kitchen, but if you want something for sleeping, our quieter fans are the better choice.

Will it cool a room?
No. It's a personal cooler for direct blowing at close range. A room needs air conditioning or a full-size fan.

Does it have a battery?
No. It runs from a USB power source and stops when unplugged. A power bank or car charger works if there's no socket nearby.

Does it work in humid weather?
Less well. Evaporative cooling depends on water evaporating into the air, so it performs best when the air is dry and less noticeably when humidity is already high.

What if it arrives faulty?
